Yesterday I was listening to Shaykh Hamza Yusuf talk and this is worth sharing from that, How to cure Cough - Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

He mentions Manuka honey and using it in burn units, the recovery time is much faster on wounds, he then says "Honey is an incredible gift, for years i suffered when i get tired i get bronchitis, for years i suffered from this, i would have a cough that lasted 3 months.

I was told by a physician I have to do sometime otherwise I’m going to damage my lungs, im going to put you on steroids said the physician. Because nothing was working, and then someone gave me a remedy that she got out of Tibun nabi;

Cough Medicine mixture
* 2 Table Spoon Honey - natural
* 1 Tea Spoon Turmeric
* 1/5 tea spoon Cinnamon

The Prophet's ﷺ prescription for illnesses

 When physicians can't do anything for a pain or for an illness, we must do as the Prophet ﷺ advises us. Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ says that you must cure your illnesses by giving sadaqah, charity.

You can have a box. Everyday you can put something in it and do as RasoolAllah ﷺ prescribed. "Oh My Lord, I am giving this sadaqah." And when it is substantial amount, if anyone is in need you can give it to them. If no one is in need, you can send it to your country, your homeland; otherwise you can give it to the mosque for charity.

But you must do this every day, morning or evening. One shilling, two shillings, four shillings, 10p, 50p, one pound; as much as you're able to give, give! It is important. When physicians can't do anything for illnesses, you must use this advice of the Prophet ﷺ.

Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ also says, "Alaykum bi shif'ain, al-asl wal Qur'an. Oh My nation, you must take care to cure your illnesses by means of two health giving things. One of them is honey and the second is the Glorious Qur'an."  Therefore you may also use honey for your pain and you may recite the Holy Qur'an as you're doing, keep this sadaqah box with you, in the hope that Allah Almighty may give you shifa and good Health.

 Prophetic medicine cures cancer

Allah made for every sickness a remedy. We must not accept that there any sickness without remedy. The Prophet Muhammad mentioned that for every sickness there is a cure...

..I witnessed many illnesses cured by the remedies prescribed by both my shaykh Abdallah al-Fa’iz al-Daghestani and Grandshaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani. These cures come from the Prophet: it is prophetic medicine that so many people are using today under the names “alternative medicine” or “Chinese medicine”....

One of the most important sicknesses that people are facing today is cancer. I heard, witnessed, and saw from my shaykh (these are three distinct levels) that cancer can be cured and eliminated from a patient, but the patient must accept what they have to do. My sister was a gynecologist, and she had cancer. 

As a doctor she wasn’t able to accept anything other than what she’d studied. She went to Shaykh Nazim in the late eighties to speak with him about her case. He told her not operate. As a doctor, she insisted on it- she did the operation on her breast and lived 15 years before passing away. My auntie, who was in her early 50s, also had a cancer. 

She went to Shaykh Nazim and Granshaykh Abdallah for advice. Her doctors had already decided that she needed to have an operation. The night before the operation was to occur, we went to grandshaykh’s house. This was in the 1970s. He told us to take her out of the hospital, that if she didn’t do the operation she would have another 30 years of life.

That night we went back to Beiruit and removed her from the hospital. The next morning they were searching for her, not knowing what had happened. She ended up living another 30 years, passing away at age 85. Meanwhile, my sister went through with her operation and lived only another 15 years.

Shaykh Nazim is carrying knowledge of Prophetic medicine that he has inherited by his spiritual connection with the Prophet through the chain of saints. He explained that there is a dormant cancer in every human being. It doesn’t awaken except in certain patients. If we touch the cancer, it will go crazy.

Instead of going slowly, if we touch it with a knife the cancer will go wild and spread. He said the best thing is to take onion juice. The Prophet said that although onion and garlic have a bad smell, they are cures for 70 different illnesses that cannot be cured by any other means. So people of Allah recommend onion juice.

Just this past weekend, I was in New York. One of the students brought a lady to me, saying that this was the lady who had cancer before and, thanks be to Allah, she’d been cured. A year before I was in New York, and they had brought to me this lady saying that she had a tumour in her head. She had a child. I told her to drink onion juice. I also read surat al-fatiha (the first chapter of the Koran) seven times onto some water on behalf of Shaykh Nazim, telling her to drink it. 

One week later she had an x-ray at the hospital and the tumour was gone. It’s not because I read or she took the onion juice, it’s because she believed that it could happen. She believed in Allah and she believed in the Prophet peace be upon him. So a year later I saw her again, and she had been cancer free for the whole time with no operation and no chemotherapy.

My recommendation for people with this problem is to take onion juice and to read surat al-fatiha seven times on water, or coffee for example, and drink it. They could alternatively read fatiha seven times and blow on themselves. If they are not able, someone else can read fatiha for them.

May Allah give us healing, shif’a, and give those who are suffering from this sickness healing also, especially Shaykh Nazim`s followers. May Allah make it easy on everyone. He is al–Shafi (The Healer). Ya Rabbi (Oh Lord), You are the One that Cures, there is no one else, we are coming to you, requesting through our master Muhammad and through your saints. We are weak and sinful servants, but we are coming to you. Where else is there to go? Your door is the one people can come to. We are coming to your door asking you to cure every human being, especially those sufferers who have children- to give them happiness in their lives.

(urdu it’s called Dam, in Arabic it’s called Nafkh)

Breathing out or blowing on is mentioned in the Qur’an and Hadith in many places. It is called nafkh or nafth. Almighty Allah created man by blowing into him His spirit. (Al-Hijr: 29; Sad: 72; As-Sajdah: 9) The end of this world and the resurrection will be ushered in by an angel blowing into the trumpet. (nafkh As-Sur, Az-Zumar: 68, Yasin: 51) It is mentioned that Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) performed some miracles by blowing on a sick or dead person. in Urdu they say "Dam-e-Isa" which is quite a famous expression in Islamic literature.

It is mentioned in many hadiths that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also used to blow on sick people and they were cured by the blessings of Allah’s words. Lady `A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said,

 "Whenever someone from the family of the Prophet got sick, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas (the prayers that begin with a`udhu, especially the last two surahs of the Qur’an) and then he used to blow his breath onto that person.".

When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself was in his last illness, I recited the same verses and blew my breath onto his hand and then rubbed him with his own hand, because the Prophet’s hand had more blessing than mine” (Muslim). 

It is also mentioned in some hadiths that it was the habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to sleep on his right side and then before sleeping he used to recite Ayat Al-Kursi, Surat Al-Ikhlas (no. 112), Surat Al-Falaq (no. 113) and Surat An-Nas (no. 114). He then used to cup both his hands, breathe into them, and then he would rub them all over his face and body (Al-Bukhari)

Note from me: Shaytaan blows 3 times over you when you go to sleep (and recites his dua over you too) and then ties 3 knots, which are tied so you don't get up for Fajr and then if you don't get up for fajr, he Shaytan uses your ear as toilet bowel and urinates in it!

So why don't you Protect yourself from this Evil Shaytanic Jinns and (Blow over yourself) from him his evil, and from creatures that can attack while you're weak in sleep and while awake from humans and Jinns and as a defense from Evil eye too and also from diseases and Unseen tribulations like accidents, attacks by thieves or having your properly damaged or stolen.  (urdu its called Dam, in Arabic it’s called Nafth)
