Shaykh Hamdi reminds us to come to the circles of remembrance with a present heart. He says that the intention of the majlis is primordial, asks us to meditate on the benediction of being present in such gatherings while some people are lost in worldly life. He advises us not to come within those circles with a forgetful heart. The intention, he says, is like a running race.
The beginning is primordial: if you don't perform well at the beginning, the rest of the run will be messy. It's a call to bring our heart back, get it involved in what we do, especially when coming to majlis of dhikr (circle of remebrance). He then shares with us a secret of Surat al- Asr, on the blessings and merits of remembering in group.
