School of Tariqah Qadiri - Ghawth al-Azam Dastagir Composed by Sajad Ali.
Way of the Sufi - Part 10.
Extract from full 11 Principles in Private Qadiri Group only.
Understanding the 11 Naqshbandi Principles - (Part 2).
11 Awareness of the Heart – “Wuquf Qalbi” This is Muraqaba of the highest level.
That is Visualising one's heart (Qalb). With name Allah (Naqsh)-inscribed on it.
Forming a mental picture of one's heart with Allah engraved-(Naqsh) to emphasize that the heart has no consciousness or goal other than God.
You need to note that Shah Naqshband added the last 3.
9. Awareness of Time (don't waste time with complaining) “Wuquf ‘Adadi”.
10. Awareness of Numbers they have meaning codes “Wuquf ‘Adadi”.
11. Awareness of the Heart Visualise Allah on your heart “Wuquf Qalbi”.
But Shah Bahauad-din Naqshband (qaddas Allahu sirru) did not consider it necessary to hold the breath during the dhikr as is done in some tariqas, even though he considered that practice to have its benefits;
Nor did he consider essential the wuquf-i-zamani and wuquf-i-adadi (awareness of time and awareness of number).
But he considered "the observance of wuquf-i-qalbi the most important and necessary because it is the summary and essence of the intention of the dhikr."
This last Principle is also most important in the Qadiri School of Sultan Bahu, where it's extremely emphasised a lot. Thus the Image ive used in the Image they used.
The Shadhili have the Name Allah written in White on on Black background, the Tijani have the Name Allah written in Black ink and white Black background. The Qadiri Sultan Bahu (qaddas Allahu sirru) used Gold Colour to written Allah.
And what they all say; is Visualise and paint or write or see yourself written the Name of Allah, from Sliver/white to Gold and place that image-(Naqsh on your Heart).
Next i'm going to use Sultan Bahu (qaddas Allahu sirru) text to talk about this, the process of placing the (Naqsh-inscribe or Engrave) the name Allah on one's Heart, inshallah Bi-idhnillah...
